I’ve ridden motorcycles for 30 years, and I’m always searching for the most convenient to use quick release for my helmets. This, irrevocably, is one that keeps it’s promise. Simple to install, simple to use, and it also has a loop to store that extra part of the strap left after adjustment. Execellent price, exceptional product.

Can’t install it without cutting the snap off existing strap., February 18, 2013

The quick connect can’t be installed without cutting the snap off of existing strap. The helmet is expensive and the snap is useful to keep excess strap from flapping in the wind.

    Unsafe, August 25, 2013

One star and unsafe, why? This item is installed on my wife’s helmet, kept indoors in an air conditioned room, used maybe 15 times. Today upon removing her helmet the push to release clip broke off under habitual use, I returned home to exchange helmets because its how we ride. We removed our “D” rings after we found that we felt satisfied with this product, now we did not have a BACKUP attachment. If you do choose to buy this product do not take out the rings, you may someday need the backup. The plastic release clip is thinner than a dime. Just a heads up.
