As white as it gets, but h-h-h-h-ot,
Anyway, these bulbs are, indeed, extremely white, adjoining on vertical filtered daylight and electronic sparkle, at 5900 degrees Kelvin just small of an arc lamp. As far as I have been able to ascertain these bulbs are NOT legal in the United States – they consume 110/120 watts, while the legal maximum in the US is 70. I am assuming the wits they use so much power is that the blue coating Hipro uses filters out so much of the longer wavelengths they need to pump additional power into the bulb to get enough light out. Even so, when I swapped thePhilips 9007 CrystalVision Ultra Headlight Bulb, Pack of 2 I have had in the car for three years for these Hipros, it looked to me the Hipros delivered less light, but when I then compared my test photography I saw they probably deliver slightly more light, but in a slightly narrower beam (the Philips bulbs incorporate Xenon gas, use 65/55 watts, and have a less intense blue coating, at 4000 Kelvin much “warmer”). These things are all very much dependent on your car, your eyes, yadayada, but you should be aware these bulbs come with a “heat grease” you’re supposed to apply somewhere on the fitting – the translation from Korean does not survive to understandability – and what that means is that these bulbs consume so much power they might melt bits of your car.
Most importantly, they state, on the package “For off road and show car only”, so they’re nice to try, I don’t know that they give me more vision than the Philips bulbs (which were a major improvement over the stock bulbs that were in the car), your fitting might melt, and you might get a ticket if a trooper decides this is just too intense. I do reckon they may make your car more noticeable, so I’ll leave them in for now, will report back if I notice whatever thing untoward. At the price, one can try.
