    Pros:
    - I was very impressed with the coverage the CE-rated armor gives; as excellent as my other gear.

    - As others have mentioned, the fit is right to size – I wear a generous but often have to go with XL to get sleeves that fit, or excellent shoulder room. Because of the other comments, I took a chance on getting my actual size and it was spot-on.

    - Very comfortable to wear.

    Cons:
    - It’s minor, but I wish the Kevlar coverage was on par with the armor coverage. Only the back of the trunk and rear of the sleeves have it, and while that makes sense for the most part as these are prime impact/abrasion areas, in a garment like this that could twist nearly on the asphalt, abrasion protection all nearly would be nice. I knew this going in, and visibly it wasn’t a deal-surf for me, but I feel it’s worth mentioning as this is chiefly why I didn’t give it 5 stars. I call this minor because I don’t reckon any seller on Amazon has more coverage, as of this writing.

    - The cell buzz pocket is a bit small for iPhones/smartphones.

As an aside, note this is a VERY black hoodie – it seems to really suck the light from a room. If you’re concerned about being visible on your scooter or dirt bike, you may want to add some insightful tape.

    Overall, a quality product.

Fantastic Protection Without Looking Like A Rolling Advertisement, August 11, 2013

I’m not a huge fan of clothing plastered with logos and a fantastic deal of the armored dirt bike gear seems to be riddled them. From the outside the hoodie looks like your average hoodie that’s ever so slightly bulkier at the shoulder and elbows where the armor is (the back armor is mostly unnoticeable). The fit is snug like a dirt bike jacket (to make sure the armor stays where it’s supposed to) but very comfortable. It’s not wind proof so I imagine I’ll need a vest or a surpass base layer when it starts getting cold. I also got to place the jacket to the test on my very first ride after getting it when I slid off the road after a rain and rolled into woods. It was a pretty low speed incident (10 or 15mph at the most) but I stood up, brushed off the dirt, and was no worse for having just been tossed from my bike. The hoodie also showed no signs of hurt, even though the knees on my jeans did. I couldn’t be more pleased, nor reckon of a surpass test and endorsement.

I have always felt a bit uneasy wearing just my vest and my typical hoodies (i.e. non-armored) when riding. I have seen some terrible accidents and the typical combination just doesn’t provide much protection.

I bought the GoGo hoody based on on-line reviews and chose to give it a shot. My first impression of the product is that it is well made — fantastic material and fantastic workmanship. I ordered a men’s ordinary, and it is right to size (I normally wear a ordinary in Harley-Davidson sizes, and this one fits me perfectly; fantastic arm part and fantastic fit nearly the chest and waist). The hoody is heavier than non-armored hoodies, of course. The armors are not toning at all. In fact, they wrap nearly my arms, elbows, and shoulders really nicely. The back armor feels nearly non-existent once I place the jacket on –> it’s really awesome.

The hoody is very comfortable to wear. I took the hoody out for a ride as soon as it arrived, and I am not disappointed. In 85+ weather, I got warm when meeting at stop lights, but as soon as I got going I was very comfortable in it — not hot at all. I have yet to try it in cooler climates to see how it will retain heat. I will find out soon enough.

    I highly recommend this hoody.
