    I would have end caps on the pipe to prevent a jack stand from being kicked
    out from under. VERY excellent ideal for table.

    wheel vise though. I get that one side is bolted down but how is the other
    side supported?

    Excellent thought! But what happens when one of ur buddies decides to really crank
    on one of those jackstands and the thing flops and there goes their bike lol
