Cheap amusing looking jeans with knee pads, February 7, 2010

These jeans have pads in the knees which add a feeling of protection while riding. They might protect your knees if you fell over at a stop or at very low speed, or if a marble or other road debris hit your knee. At speed I don’t reckon they offer very much protection, but surpass than none at all. Denim only adds one layer of skin to what you already have, and it doesn’t last very long at all when sliding down the pavement. They are honestly comfortable to wear while riding, with stretch panels that also allow cooling air in. Off the bike the knee pads are bothersome. The rise is shorter than I like, sort of 70’s hip hugger style, and the pockets are shallow. Cheap jeans with knee pads. They are sewn with multiple small pieces of denim, and have lots of seams. They look odd when off the bike, and sometimes draw quizzical looks or a guffaw here and there, but I don’t wear them for the looks. I rarely wear them any longer since I got some mesh armored over pants. I can slip those over whatever pants I want to wear, even shorts, and they offer much surpass protection than these jeans. If you want actual protection when riding in jeans I would look for some Kevlar jeans, and wear some under armor, or get some armored over pants.

Very nice one. Right to its fitting measurements, just like having your regular jeans but have knee paddings. You can also take out it if you don’t feel like wearing with it. But I like mine wearing with paddings. I always wear it when ridding my bike even when it gets cold hear in miami it’s subdue comfy! I will recommend it with my friends. Excellent price too!

Cheap jeans with crude padding, October 5, 2009

These are just a pair of cheap loose fit jeans with a cut of flat (not shaped) padding sewn on inside the knees. Surpass off buying a decent pair of comfortable jeans and wearing roller blade or hockey knee pads underneath. Probably just as comfortable. I would not nag if these were $15 at Walmart.
