I installed a set of these this past winter. I mistakenly installed the
right side grip with the wire down instead of forward and it doesn’t get as
hot as it should due to the location of the element. Is there a way I can
adjust the grip without destroying it?

This is nice. But I don’t like the “Taps” method for electrical connection,
they have a higher fsiler rate than a excellent proper splice. Otherwise I give
this product a hardy “Thumbs Up”!

Scotchloks are a poor electrical connection at best. They open the
insulation to water and crud that’ll corrode the ATV wiring and the grip
wiring. The Mate-n-Lok 6 position UNSEALED connector shown in this video is
just as terrible. Sealed connectors from Deutsch or Delphi are straightforwardly available
along with the proper tooling for termination. There’s no wits to not
utilize them on outdoor low voltage applications like this. Tap in with
    connect and adhesive lined heatshrink…
