These are really nice gloves… but, October 29, 2013

These are fantastic gloves, kinda loose but subdue nice and tight nearly the wrist/forearm. But, I had to ride the other day in 26 degree weather and these gloves held up no surpass than my non insulated deer skin gauntlets. At those temperatures it may not really matter that much what you wear that isn’t electric but I was hoping these would do surpass. I do believe that anyone with a front fairing or hand deflectors would do perfectly fine with these gloves but there is a lot of stitching for the wind to get through so whatever thing over 50 MPH you will start to feel it. After my 26 degree day I chose to buy both hand deflectors and heated grips. All in all, if you want a excellent looking glove that will keep your hands warm below 32 degrees at 45 MPH these will do the trick. If you are going into whatever thing more farthest I would suggest something that blocks the wind surpass.

Exceptional gloves for the price ($25), though being a resident of the Southwest, winters here aren’t either as long or as cold as most of the rest of the country. Wind protection is adequate when I’m riding my Royal Star Tour Deluxe (just a windshield, no fairing), and on my Venture (with fairing) I have to consider leaving the gauntlet loose for some additional air circulation. I keep my glove liners handy, though; in temperatures below 25(F) or so, they might verify to be useful. The insulation in the fingers is thick enough to protect against below-freezing temperatures, but the trade-off between tactile sensitivity and cold protection might leave you looking for some additional protection from temperatures significantly lower than that.
