Stay away from the YELLOW version of “T10 3528 28-SMD 194 168″ – way too dim.,
I originally had the WHITE version of these LEDs in my side-mirror turn signal lights, and those were very bright and worked well. We finished up replacing the original housing (which was yellow) and the substitution part had a clear housing – so I needed to buy some yellow LED.
The yellow LED barely place out any light. I’d say they are 1/10 the brightness of the same size white LED for comparison. Since I’m trying to install these as a protection device (turn signal indicator) there was no way I could use them. I tried all 4 LED in the bag, hoping just some of them were dim – but they were all terrible. I’m subdue giving it 2 stars because they all lit up; none were “dead”, they just don’t place out any light.

Amber 5050’s Not very bright. Nominally acceptable. Perhaps brighter than bright.,
Customer Video Review Part:: 0:21 Mins
If they’re available, you’ll get more brightness out of the cutequeen 3528’s than the 5050’s.
that being said, they all worked. I didn’t notice a malfunctioned LED in the lot of them (20 amber 5050 t10 bulbs, 12 3528 t10 red, 8 3528 t10 white bought). All seemed to be of equivalent brightness to each other amongst the product types.
More negatives: the main conductors use a VERY thin gauge wire. Combined with the nice snug fit and the need to take out half of the installed bulbs and flip them nearly, the end user is left with bent conductors and they’ll have to bend the wire back into shape some of the time. Additionally, sometimes the conductors were bent into the incorrect position as packaged and didn’t make contact with my socket without having to go the wires.
Crossing my fingers that they last!
