I really liked the design of this boot. I wanted a light weight (Riding Boot). As a rule I always use Harley boots but just could not find a pair this go nearly that met my needs. Shipping was excellent I was excited when they were delivered. The boots look fantastic, lightweight and felt very comfortable…The problem arose when I tried them on for the first time. I was cinching them up and broke two eyelets on my right boot.. “Bummer”. It was like getting a toy for Christmas with no batteries !! No problem RIGHT??.. just send them back for a new pair.. “WRONG”!! I contacted MOTORCYCLE SUPERSTORE and was told since they were a third have fun that I would have to eat the shipping. So I contacted Amazon, which I am a member and use them pretty regular. Same tale, TO SHIP THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT BACK I HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET. I AM VERY DISPLEASED WITH BOTH AMAZON AND MOTORCYCLE SUPERSTORE….WTF I HAVE NEVER EVER,,EVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY VENDOR ONLINE FOR ANY REASON…THIS UNREASONABLE EXPERIENCE HAS CHANGED MY VIEWS ON INTERNET SHOPPING

I ordered these for my upcoming Vegas run. I had a pair of IIcon boots that have lasted me approximately 10 years, but the fabric eyelets failed me. After reading reviews on those with similar issues, I went with these. Unfortunately they feel very cheap and are quite generous. My IIcons are 12’s and these are 13’s, but on my BMW I’ve already scrapped a pretty excellent off of the front from turning, not even that aggressively.

Build quality seems cheap. The stiff reviews really made me want them more, with anticipation of a quality boot that must be broken in. That is not the case with these boots. After about 500 miles of spirited riding, they are less stiff and flimsy at the toe bend area.

I should have ponied up for the IIcons.

This boot is fine, but I see how you could pull the lace hooks off of the boot.
Take your time lacing and unlacing this boot.
