I must admit that I was skeptical about this product when I bought it. I am someone who likes to ride motorcycles and scooters in all kinds of weather including high winds and rainstorms. I live in Oregon and previously lived in Germany so rain is a common thing in life. The Frogg Toggs pants are very light in weight and feel like they are made of some kind of paper-like material. Similar to the kind of surgical gowns and masks you find in the hospital. They are designed to fit over your regular pants and they really do breathe! There is a cinch nearly the waist to adjust for comfort and tightness. In riding nearly in town and on the highway, they do not allow any water in! Even when meeting on a soaking wet seat, your pants underneath stay perfectly dry. My only small gripe is that they are not very arresting to look at and are very baggy. They are priced very nice though. A dirt bike protection instructor in Oregon highly recommends them and he uses them to conduct multi-day classes on dirt bike protection (in the rain of course) and stays dry all day long without any complaints of heat build up and sweating. So if you want to stay dry they are fantastic, but don’t expect to go to a dinner have fun dressed in these pants!

I’m amazed with Frogg Toggs, September 19, 2013

I just got my Frogg Togg pants in. I’m so pleased I read the previous reviews and really bought them.

I ride a dirt bike and below 50 degree in the morning is nearly unbearable wind chill cold on the legs with just jeans on. Not to mention the 30degree days here in Tucson, Arizona where I live. So, windproof pants are my only realistic option besides huge bulky snow pants…and I despise carrying those nearly.

When I opened the package, I was immediately impressed with how lightweight, yet sturdy and high quality the pants are. They feel soft inside, and comfortable. And they aren’t all stiff like my snow pants are.

10/10 … best 30 bucks I’ve spent on dirt bike accessories. I’d recommend them to everyone that rides.

This review is from: Frogg Toggs Bull Frogg Rain Pants (XXX-LARGE) (BLACK)
If I have made a excellent buy during my dirt bike years, THIS IS IT!!! Light weight, strong, fantastic looking, simple to place on, no “inside a plastic bag” heat… And 200% waterproof… Even surpass that my $800 Goretex pants… Just place it on, and let it rain!
