    Have you tested the lift with a bike on it yet I built one a few years ago
    that was very similar but I upgraded to a 120v utility hoist to make it work

    Never lifted a bike with the winch. See my updated video. I got rid of the
    winch and replaced with a long ram jack. Much more sturdy. I really broke
    that winch cable on a lift with a few hundred pounds.
