I had earlier bought the 12.5″ in a vain effort to raise the 2012 H_D SuperLows GC, but the 13.5″ were exact for the job. It does sharpen the steering a we bit though, reducing the rake, I feel by a margin… The quality of the ride is super fantastic over the stock. Wife and me weigh in nearly 350Lbs combined, and for the occasional rides together, the shocks are exact. For those without the financial statement for the higher category shocks 444 (?)., I would personally recommend these for all they are worth- major bargain basement priced price over the higher series- well worth the money.Prompt delivery, and in scratchless condition, with the adjuster thrown in.

I bought it to replace the stock SuperLow 883XL shocks. The increased size (12.5″) was to compensate for the low GC on the bike. The Shock has worked wonders for handling the load, with me and the passenger seating putting in about 350Lbs together… The increased height at the rear sharpens the front end, by decreasing rake- thus making it a sharper handling bike- you need to be sure if you want that effect, or then go for 12″ or lower shock. It has made a minor difference to the GC, and I reckon if you can get it for the value here, then its worth the upgrade- meaning in countries where Customs Duties, Taxes etc are in vogue then you would rethink importing it. They fit in straightforwardly in baggage, so anyone flying in and out of the US can get it for you. I would suggest you excuse the 13″ version, because then you will need a taller damper rod from one of the other Sportsters to raise the front to assess the bias. The fit was exact, so not to worry. The 4 stars is because I expected the bike to stop grazing Indian speedbreakers… I forgot how low our road-engineers could go :-)

Work indeed! Then again this is not my first use of these progressives. Helps with weight distribution and the plus us road control as well. Works for me.
