this works very well for kayaking, slips down from time to time, but not the end of the world, excellent

Everything I was looking for, April 17, 2012

Narrow trails and rocky ditches will ruin you. After a close call I chose I didn’t want a broken elbow so I invested in these terrible boys. They have proven very comfortable in hot climate and long rides which is a must in South Texas. I can slide them off and on without undoing the straps or worrying about them coming off when I need them to stay on. I went with white for visibility, sun reflection, and so I can look a small like a stormtrooper. I also went with the same develop for knee and shine protection. Awesome!

I would not recommend it for anyone looking for an elbow pad with a snug fit. This pad is held by a release strap with Velcro that goes from top to bottom in an “X” pattern. The top (elbow) part feels unsecured and a bit exposed, IMO.
