Fantastic Helmet at a Bargain Price, June 25, 2012

I was very hesitant to order this helmet without trying it on in person. But, the sizing chart I found online was dead on and the critical reviews proved fake (at least on the one I received).

First, the helmet is very nice to look at (I’ve already had a few people comment on how excellent it looks).

Second, the Bluetooth is very simple to set up, is attached sturdily to the inside, and works as well as you should expect (i.e., it’s no Bose sound quality, but it’s crisp, clear, and loud enough to hear).

Third, with the vents open, I experienced no fogging, even while wearing sunglasses.

Overall, I reckon this is a go quietly for the price. In fact, I just ordered one for my wife as well.

    Pros:
    Comfortable
Bluetooth works sufficiently well for turn-by-turn navigation
So far, i’ve never killed the battery (used it on a 5 hour trip)
Other visors available, I got the light smoke tint and it’s goood

    Cons:
I wish it were SNELL approved

Excellent bluetooth, terrible helmet, September 7, 2012

The bluetooth and speakers on this helmet work very well, and are simple to set up with your iPhone. But the helmet itself is so flimsy, and at speeds above 25 miles per hour so noisy, it’s not worth it. I finished up buying a shoei helmet, and ripped out the bluetooth from this helmet and installed it in the new one. Now I can hear music and talk on the buzz at 70 mph no problem. Pulling out the electronics showed this helmet to be of very shoddy construction. Do yourself a favor, buy a nice, silent helmet and place in a blinc or other bluetooth yourself.
