I was apprehensive about buying this modular helmet because: 1. I've not heard anything good about modular helmets (too noisy, cheaply manufactured). 2. The price is low. (I normally go with, you get what you pay for. I've used it a few times in both the city and on the highway and I love it! I wear glasses, so the flip down sun shield is great. The control for the sun shield is easy to use and so is the single button release to lift the front of the helmet. I've always primarily used a half shell helmet, so noise with this isn't near as bad as the half shell...it is a bit noisier than my full face helmet though. The only negative thing I have to say about it is the chin strap...seems like it could be a bit longer...minor to me. My other helmets are medium size...I wasn't sure about buying a medium based on other comments I read about the helmet being smaller than normal...I bought the medium anyway--perfect fit!
