It spins pretty fast but makes noise once the button's released (that's why 3 stars). The sound's similar to bearings spinning w/out oil. It could very well be how it's supposed to be. All I know is it works very well and spins my Recon 250's motor real fast.
If I needed another starter from this vendor, I'd buy it again, no problem.
