After looking at leather jackets for over a year I purchased a new Rifleman from STS. It was the style I was looking for and the quality was far better than anything else I found. I rejected most jackets I looked at because the leather was more like tissue paper than leather, or they had the feel of cloth. The STS jacket leather is thick and it feels like leather should feel. It is very heavy compared to everything else I saw, not a summer time jacket for sure. I am a cheapskate but I would happily pay double the cost for this jacket, it is that nice. The only flaw is that it is not made in the US, this is a product of Pakistan. I intended to buy a US made jacket, but I could not even find one. I have no doubt that "Fonzie" would wear this jacket and be happy.
